Online Events Programme

Our Course Leaders have been extremely generous and supportive in offering to run online sessions to help raise money for CR. These events are proving popular - a great way to meet a course leader you've heard about, or try something you've never done before - or perhaps just brighten up your day with some new input and inspiration! And it all helps to support CR while we are recovering from the effects of the pandemic. See below for the list of online events, which is being updated frequently so keep checking back for more.

Here is the original founder of CR, Nigel Shamash, who still comes back to run holidays every year. Nigel kindly shared this video to uplift us all during the challenges we are going through. Enjoy!

Note on event prices: We have given minimum prices but if you feel able to give more, please do, as these events are intended to help raise money towards our current appeal to support Cortijo Romero while we recover from the effects of the pandemic. Thank you! We have a JustGiving page set up where you can make donations if you wish: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/cortijo-romero-sos Many of you reading this have already done so - our deepest thanks to you.

The Stories we Tell - October workshops online with Sarah and Jamie Jauncey

Sarah and Jamie are offering two weekend workshops - with exclusive discounts for CR as well as part of the proceeds going towards the CR appeal.

Writing From The Heart
Whether you have a particular writing project, are interested in writing for wellbeing, or simply want to develop your own 'voice', these workshops are for you. They’re an opportunity to reflect on what it takes to speak authentically, to make strong connections with yourself and the world around you, and to experiment with different approaches to the stories you want to tell.
Weekend 16th -17th October
10 am -12 pm; 2 pm - 4 pm

Life Stories
On this ever-popular weekend we look at our personal and family histories, as well as the influence of significant people and events in our lives. By revisiting these stories we tell about ourselves and our lives we can gain a fresh perspective on who we are, where we're going, and how we can best manage the challenges of living in an increasingly fraught and uncertain world.
Weekend 30th - 31st October
10 am -12 pm; 2 pm - 4 pm

Cost and discounts:
Standard price for each weekend is £200, but pay £180 if you say you heard about the workshops through Cortijo Romero by emailing corrie@thestorieswetell.org.uk

A further portion of the proceeds will also be given to CR for the appeal fund.
