A private bus leaves Cortijo Romero, usually around 08:30, each Saturday morning. The journey takes up to two hours, depending on traffic, and most airlines ask you to be at the airport two hours before departure. If you want to use our bus service, your return flight should leave no earlier than 12:00; otherwise, you will need to go by taxi, which is more expensive
A private bus collects our guests from a meeting point at Malaga airport, departing by 16:30. The journey takes up to two hours, depending on traffic. To give yourself time to collect your luggage and get to the meeting point, try to get a flight that arrives by 15:30. If you come later, a taxi is more expensive.
We can supply vegan, dairy-free and wheat-free diets, as well as some medically-prescribed ones, but this must be booked before you travel.
If you have been under medical or psychiatric supervision within the last twelve months, you must provide a doctor’s certificate of medication and fitness to travel and take part. Our courses are not suitable for those who are currently too physically disabled or emotionally disturbed to take responsibility for themselves. In any case, all health problems should be disclosed when booking, so that we are prepared to help if necessary. (There is a good clinic nearby. The nearest hospital is 30 minutes by car.) Your insurance policy and contract with us may be invalid if you don’t disclose all relevant facts.
We are required by law to advise you of the importance of being properly insured. The European Health Insurance Card (from post offices or other public sources) gives you cover for medical treatment but not for associated costs such as ambulances and the residential charges for a hospital stay. For those and everything else, an ordinary travel policy is needed – and is a condition of booking.
You will need your password to log in to My Cortijo Romero and view and edit your booking.
This is required by the Spanish authorities.
This is required in case we need to let somebody know if you fall ill or suffer some other emergency while on holiday.
A provisional booking requires no payment, but we will hold your place for you while you make any necessary arrangements such as checking you can get flights to suit you, etc. If places on the course are booking up and someone else wants the place after some time, we will contact you to see if you still wish to go ahead, and at that time we will ask you to pay your deposit to confirm you place. Your balance is then due 6 weeks before departure.
A confirmed booking is made by paying £100 deposit and your place will then be considered fully booked. Full payment of the balance is not due until 6 weeks before departure. If you wish to pay the full balance initially, you are of course welcome.
Your holiday cost and optional extras are detailed below.
