Move With Ease - The Feldenkrais Method®

" make the impossible possible, the possible easy and the easy elegant."

From Saturday Mar 25, 2017 to Saturday Apr 01, 2017
Cost: £680.00
Availability: CALL

The Feldenkrais Method ® is a unique way to let go of old patterns, explore new ways of being and realise our potential more fully through gentle movement, suitable for all ages and abilities.

Group lessons and partner work develop and deepen awareness of how you are in your body, how you move, and what you find easy or challenging. From there, explore new movement patterns that may work better for you. Along the way, you may release muscle tension and stress, ease chronic pain, breathe more easily and feel more grounded and balanced.

The movements take place lying on the floor, sitting, standing and walking. Different areas and functions of the body are explored, including breathing, the shoulders, neck and upper body, the spine, hips, pelvis and limbs. Gentle touch is used as an aid to self-awareness.

"Movement is life. Life is a process. Improve the quality of the process and you improve the quality of life itself."

People Say…

"Lots of dancing which I loved. Focussed on the theme of love and opening up to love. Through dance my self-esteem was restored and also my relationship to others. There were sessions of sharing experiences and feedback. Difficult feelings were worked through with the help of physical movement. This was refreshing new and very effective."
