Sing Your Heart Out!

and knock your socks off!

From Saturday Aug 28, 2010 to Saturday Sep 04, 2010
Cost: £578.00
Availability: YES

A soul-nourishing and heart-opening week of harmony singing, learning beautiful songs from all over the world - from Georgian table songs to African freedom songs; Russian lullabies to grooving gospel. All have an inherently uplifting quality that nourishes the spirit and fills us with positive energy. We’ll also work on resonance and tone, warm up with eastern scales, bathe in sound pools and share unique vocal journeys together.

No need to read music, as all songs are taught by ear. For those who love to sing, whether you think you can or not! No solo singing unless desired.

Course Leader

Radha .
Radha runs a vibrant community choir in Spain and regular workshops there and in the U.K. She teaches with humour and joy and is both supportive and gentle with those finding their voice for the first time, whilst creating space for the more confident to explore their vocal possibilities. Since encountering Indian classical singing, she also uses a tamboura (Indian instrument) to support scale and improvisation work. Radha has sung all her life and is particularly interested in the raw beauty of the authentic voice which everyone possesses.
